Welcome to Photonicamp's Wiki! Photonicamp, Unicamp's Photonics Research Center, is a center of excellence established at the Gleb Wataghin Institute of Physics (IFGW). Inaugurated after 11 years of planning, the center is dedicated to the study and development of photonics-based technologies.
Areas of Expertise
The center conducts fundamental research on the properties of light and its interaction with matter. Its studies cover various practical applications, including telecommunications, information processing, metrology, and medicine.

Creating pages
Often, the first question new users have when dealing with MediaWiki, is "How do I create a page?".
Update (2024-12-05): There is now a "Create Page" link in the main menu to facilitate this task.
To do that, simply edit the address bar, and add the name of the page you want, such as: https://photonwiki.ifi.unicamp.br/wiki/index.php/New_Page_Name. Underscores ( _ ) in the link are treated as spaces in the page title.
Another possibility is to use the search bar above, and search for the page you want to create. If it doesn't exist, an option to create it will be shown.
